Our client is an innovative, fast growing company which focuses on development, manufacturing and distribution of new types of nanopositioning systems, including Scanning Probe Microscopes and has become a well-known supplier and cooperation partner for customers in academia and industry worldwide. In order to further the growth we are seeking a Senior Sales Professional with experience in one or more of the following areas: Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM), nanopositioning systems or Cryogenics. Experience in Industrial sales and key account management would be an advantage.

 

Senior Sales Professional (m/f) Nanotechnology

 

Your main focus of the job / occupational activity:

  • Identify new market opportunities
  • Identify, develop and nurture key accounts
  • Generate sales leads for new and existing product lines
  • Coordination of customer inquiries.
  • Being first point of contact to our scientific and industrial customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their technical needs
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions
  • Recording and maintaining customer/key account contact data with new prospect and sales lead tracking
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and technical experts
  • Developing and nurturing strong customer relationships through your knowledge of the scientific community.
  • Provide technical expertise and sales support to our distributors. This will include sales and application training as well as demonstrations of our products.

Your qualification / profile:

  • Scientific or Technical degree, Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science preferred
  • experience in SPM, Nanopositioning and/or Cryogenics
  • excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills, open to challenging requests and situations, creative, able to communicate with people on all levels
  • results oriented, driven and enthusiastic
  • able to prioritize, be organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
